Roubidoux Spring, Waynesville
Roubidoux Spring is a natural spring that flows into the Roubidoux River in Waynesville. The spring is a beautiful sight, with clear blue water and lush green surroundings. The spring is also a cave diving site, with over 4,000 feet of mapped passages that go down to 200 feet. The cave is full of stalactites, stalagmites, fossils, and other formations. The water temperature is a constant 58°F, and the visibility is excellent. However, cave diving is not for everyone, and it requires special training and equipment. Only certified cave divers can access the spring, and they need to register with Odyssey Scuba, which also provides air fills and equipment rental.
